The price cap for gas and electricity bills is lowered by energy watchdog Ofgem as wholesale costs fall.

Ofgem has dropped the price cap limit by £84 for standard variable tariff customers and £95 for prepayment customers, it was revealed today.

“The company#39;s (consolidated) net profit stood at Rs 213 crore vis-a-vis Rs 244 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year,” the company said in a BSE filing.
